Responsibilities:

 

• Provision of quality customer service at café counter.

 

• Taking of orders, preparing and servicing of food items.

 

• Preparation traditional coffee, teas and also other hot and cold beverages.

 

• Prepare all types of bread and toasts.

 

• Prepare and serve local fare like Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, etc.

 

• Cashiering.

 

• Check that the quantity / quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper conditions.

 

• Washing of cups and dishes, etc.

 

• Minor cleaning and maintain station in practicing work safety, personal hygiene and organization skills at all times.

 

• Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.

 

 

Requirements:

 

• Open to candidates with different working experiences or minimal working experience as extensive training will be provided.

 

• Energetic and physically fit.

 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 

• Self motivated, independent yet a good team player.

 

• Committed and highly dedicated to roles and responsibilities.

 

 

 

Miscellaneous Information:

 

• Working Days / Hours:

 

1) Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 6.00pm

 

2) The Café will be closed on Saturday, Sundays and All Public Holidays in Singapore.

 

• Location: Tai Seng (Walkable distance from Tai Seng MRT) (About 5 – 10 mins)

 

• Remuneration Package:

 

1) Basic Salary: SGD1,200 – SGD1,600

 

2) Overtime Allowance will be provided for services between 44 hours – 60 hours served per week.

 

3) Meals will be provided.

 

4) Uniforms will be provided.

 

• Organization will enroll candidates for the WSQ Food Hygiene courses.

 

• Extensive On-The-Job training will be provided.
