Product Development & Integration Engineer (High Tech Surveillance )

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
  • To develop new products and product documentation.
  • Develop testing methodology and conduct testing of new products
  • To produce CAD drawings of new products.
  • To liaise with vendors on the materials for product development.
  • Vendor Management
  • Design and implement production process.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with Product Director to develop new products. New products can be:
  • integration of different technologies/products
  • OEM product development
  • Prepare documentation for new products which include manuals, CAD drawings, product specification sheets, presentation materials etc.
  • To source for material suppliers for the materials required to build a new product.
  • To control the quality of materials supplied by vendors.
  • Always on the lookout for new technological development in the market.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum Diploma qualification, preferably in Mechatronics.
  • Must have knowledge on drafting and Autocad software.
  • Have Experience in the design and production of water-resistant (IP rated) products.
  • Have good knowledge of production process.
  • Good command of English  (reading and writing), with strong writing skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Multi-tasking may be required, candidate must be highly versatile in a dynamic startup environment.
  • At least 4-5 years of working experience preferred in Surveillance product development.
  • Based in Singapore and occasional travelling is required.
