HR Executive (Payroll)

 JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
 
Main responsibility is to manage the full spectrum of Payroll duties plus assistance in other HR and admin roles.
 
A) Payroll
 
• Manage Bi-Monthly Payroll for about 220 employees.
 
• Maintain master payroll file on excel spreadsheet
 
• Update attendance records daily (MC, leave, new staff, resignation, termination, etc.) once notified
 
• Process medical claims, transport claims, overtime or other payroll related claims and employees’ uniforms deductions.
 
• Follow up on MCs and leave form submissions from cleaners that work at clients’ locations (to send in via post or
company’s mobile WhatsApp)
 
• Process payment for commission for sales personnel.
 
• Upload & submit payroll templates to bank for direct credit to staff accounts 
 
• Maintain records of annual & medical leave balances
 
• Process annual leave encashments, ‘red packets’ payouts, bonuses or related payouts to staffs
 
• AIS submission (yearly), MOM surveys (quarterly) & other relevant periodic submissions
 
• Have current experience with good payroll software and procedures to source and implement new software system in 6 months’ time (very important).
 
 

B) HR and Admin Roles
 
• Arrange for training courses and apply for training grants
 
• Liaise with manpower agent for new staff placement.
 
•  Handle daily recruitment calls
 
• Application / renewal / cancellation of work passes / book air tickets for foreign workers’ departure
 
• Have clear knowledge of MOM policies to ensure full compliance 
 
• Liaise with insurance agents for workmen compensation matters annually (renew or get new quotes)
 
• File claims with insurance agent and report to MOM when there are insurance claims
 
• Other administrative & paper work that include: print & mail pay slips, issue HR letters, circulars/notices and review
employment contracts
 
• All filings
 
 
 
Requirements:
 
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in payroll and HR functions.
 
• Able to handle payroll for about 200 employees and also comfortable to handle bi-month payroll.
 
• Well versed in CPF, MOM government guidelines and regulations.
 
• Resourceful with effective administration, coordination and communication skills
 
• Good in numbers and meticulous in payroll matters.
 
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
 
• Willing and able to assist in OT, when required.
 
 
 
Miscellaneous Information:
 
• Working Days: Monday to Friday only
 
• Working Hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm
 
• Location: East Area (From Aljunied MRT: Public Bus, 10 minutes ride) (Geylang Bahru MRT: 8 Minutes walk)
 
• Remuneration Package:
 
1) Basic Salary: $2,800 - $3,500 (Dependent On Experience)
