ACCOUNTANT (5 days - West)

 JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the General Ledger section, including managing a team of over ten staff.
  • Present the full sets of accounts, including management reports, for all entities to the Head of Finance accurately and timely.
  • Initiate process improvements and automations with front end GL operations for workflow efficiency, accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Reviews financial reports and other financial information on a timely basis to assist Management to plan and make decisions.
  • Support in any other projects/duties assigned from time to time.
  • Able to do and explain the double entries where necessary
 
 
Requirements:
  • Positive mindset and strong initiative in continuous improvement a must
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • CA / CPA qualification preferred
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards is a MUST
  • Knowledge of deferred taxation
  • Good communication skills

Salary : $5,000 - $6,000 – depending on experience
