Service Engineer (x 2)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Marine), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Pioneer.
- Experience in Marine and oil and gas industries is advantageous
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive, Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
- 5.5 day week. Mon to Friday: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Alternate Saturday: 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.
- 2 Full-Time position(s) available.
- Candidate with driving licence is at an advantage.
Job Scope:
· Carrying out works on board vessels eg., Fixed & portable gas detectors, fixed CO2 fire extinguishing system, fixed dry chemical system and fire alarm system, etc.
· Preparing service report & certificates
· Corresponding & arranging jobs with sub-contractors & suppliers· Liaising with vessels’ owners, agents and shipyards on vessels schedule and making necessary arrangement
· Preparing necessary documentations to facilitate smooth operations· Conduct maintenance and inspection on marine firefighting and safety system.
Maintenance job in the workshop.
· Prepare reports/papers on inspection. (in the office/Pioneer)
· Liaise by emails with Japan HQ and clients.
