Asst Engineer (MNC / Gas)

 JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Candidate must possess at least a Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Tampinese.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas, Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent•
  • Must be a hands on person
  • Able to be recall for emergency
  • Able to work after office hours when required
  • Experience in working in gas supplies environment is preferred.
  • 5 day work week. 8.30 am to 6 pm with requirement to work OT on alternate saturdays 8.30 to 6 pm.
  • other allowances includes Transport, Perfect attendance, ERT. OT payable.
 
Job Scope:
 
Primary Objectives: To assist Engineer/Senior Engineer in maintaining and managing customer's Gas Dispensing Systems and Valve Manifold Boxes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining and managing customer's Gas Dispensing Systems and Valve Manifold Boxes
• Assist in maintaining and managing customers’ Town Gas Systems
• Provide support, service and attend to customer's enquiries and needs
• Lead the Engineering Team comprises of TGCM technicians
• Coordinate, lead and supervise gas cylinder replacement
• Update and maintain documents, records and reports
• Anticipating and troubleshooting systems troubles and problems
• Extract trends, data and infos from Chemical Monitoring System and interpret
• Coordinate and Execute Maintenance Plan timely
• Participate as a member of Emergency Response Team (ERT)
- Chemical Leak
- Gas Leak
• Supervise all parts replacement, ad-hoc jobs, emergency replacement and other related jobs
• Manage customers’ spare parts and update spares record
• Attend to Gas Alarms and Gas Leak Alarms
• Liaise and coordinate with contractor and suppliers
• Liaise and coordinate with Machines Owners and Production Members
• Other duties as and when assigned by superior from time to time
