Cash Center Manager (Large scale cash processing experience required)

 JOB DESCRIPTION
The Role: Cash Centre Manager (Must have worked in Large scale cash processing centre)
You must be able to run a department with little or no spervision. 
 
To effectively control multiple cash centres ensuring that professional and error free services are provided to all customers.
 
Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies
  • Maintain safe and secure environment, secures inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures.
  • Proactively reduces risk exposure and ensures implementation of measures to eliminate security losses
  • Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiency
  • Maintain positive Employee Relations and work environment. Creates a cooperative team atmosphere of employee engagement, develops staff
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis.
  • Ensure that all operational duties for all specific areas assigned are covered.
  • Ensure that all staff assigned to the area are supervised in their day to day tasks.
  • Ensure all documentation are accurate.
  • Report all discrepancies to relavent parties immediately.
  • Facilitate Customer Vault Audits
  • Record all required detail of any processing error in Error Log.
  • Under the direction of the Cash Centre Supervisor ensure full compliance with all Cash Centre operating procedures
  • Maintain staff productivity data and report to on a weekly basis.
  • Liaise with other Team Executives as required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Monitor and report any deficiencies 
  • Train employees as necessary
  • Maintain orderly and clean work areas, including all machines, tables, cabinets and storage areas
  • Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
 
Requirements
  • 3 to 4 years related experience with one year in supervisory position
  • Good verbal and written Communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Able to work with strict deadlines
  • Organised and attentive to details
  • Customer and service orientated
  • Have initiative and commitment to achieve
