Assistant Sales Manager (MNC), Job from sample agency, Singapore Employment Agency

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and develop leads for achieving overall corporate objectives
Assist in managing and leading the sales team in canvassing for and conversion of new business, as well as supporting and managing existing corporate accounts
Responsible and accountable for gross margin development for Singapore business division
Lead and drive successes on project tasks, new business development, as well as establishing strategic business expansion plans for assigned markets in Singapore
Lead the sales team by assisting in the area of motivating, caoching, training, leveraging, and sharing essential information
Monitor, review and report on business results, taking prompt action to ensure improvements in performance are implemented
Involve in the preparation of operational protocols for new and/or changes to existing business accounts in conjunction with customer service delivery team
Manage and maintain database of quotations and customer accounts
Effecting market research and collating data
Keeping abreast of competition activities within the region
Make recommendations of improvements on the area of customer service based on market analysis

REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or equivalent
Prior experience in a similar role with good track record
Good experience in freight forwarding/supply chain industry
Proficient in MS Office applications - Spreadsheet, Word, Powerpoint
Good analytical skills
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Able to manage a broad cross-section of external contacts at all levels
Results-oriented and tasks-focused
