HISTORY
We started out as a couple of ambitious guys who were disillusioned with the way recruitment was being done by the existing companies recruiting for the design, construction and engineering markets. We saw an opportunity to out-compete the existing players on service, ethics and the way many great recruitment consultants were being treated by their employers. We founded Amida in 2009 and started creating a contemporary, service orientated, values driven recruitment agency. Since then we have been joined by some of the best construction and engineering recruiters from around the world and developed a few great new ones internally over the last 5 years ourselves. We now have over 50 staff operating from 6 countries and continuing to expand fast.

WHAT WE DO
We still work with many of those clients and candidates that gave us a go in year 1 and have grown our client portfolio impressively. Our service orientated approach has enabled us to build many exclusive and semi-exclusive client relationships which means we can offer our candidates a large variety of options that maybe different to the mainstream agencies. Our client base includes a wide array of firms and public authorities, ranging from architects, consultancies, engineering firms, construction companies, large global corporations to SME’s.

HOW WE DO IT
Our consultants are all experts in their area of recruitment with first-hand technical and business knowledge of their relevant sectors. Our training program and constant market reviews ensure we are up to speed with new developments and the latest consultative techniques. We have a non-corporate working culture that is personable whilst providing a professional service that delivers results for both our clients and candidates.

We have built a great business since 2009 and now we are taking it to the next level. We believe we are market leaders in the service offering we give our clients and candidates but want to expand this further, enhancing the reputation of recruitment in general. We believe there is real opportunity in our sectors to continue to grow through our style of high quality recruitment, as such we are seeking to double the size of our business in the next 4 years. We will do this by building deeper relationships with our existing clients, adding new clients to our portfolio’s, enhancing our candidate attraction, innovate through cutting edge technology and investing in developing our internal talent so we continue to have the best consultants in the market.
