The system, the clients, the fee structure... everything reinforces the very 'average' behaviours that most people dislike about recruiters. For many hiring managers recruitment is a commoditised service - feedback is hit and miss and companies only get paid on success. If you seek to deliver more screening and information you risk missing out to unscrupulous recruiters that spam CVs to clients without candidate permission.

I say simply this because the first place we tried to apply our mission was arguably one of the toughest out there. We still don't succeed as often as I'd like, but we get better every day and we never stop climbing.
